UpThat uses AI tools to help research, compare sources, draft and edit stories, and prepare production assets. AI output can contain errors; it is not treated as evidence by itself.

Claims should be checked against original documents and linked sources. We distinguish reported facts from interpretation and preserve uncertainty where the evidence is limited.

Generated images are labeled Editorial visualization on the image and in the caption. They are not used as documentary evidence of real events. Sourced imagery retains its credit and context.

Each article includes its sources and a production note. Material corrections are recorded as editorial revisions; earlier published versions are available when retained.
