Evidence before attention.
We distinguish reported facts from analysis, estimates, and unconfirmed information. Primary documents and original research take priority over repeated summaries.
We check source independence, not just source count. A widely repeated claim is not automatically a verified claim. High-risk reporting requires explicit review.
AI-generated visuals are labeled when used. They must not be presented as documentary evidence of a real event. Source photography requires appropriate rights and credit.
We do not publish simply to fill a daily quota. Publishing no story is preferable to publishing one we cannot substantiate.
